F.A.Q.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q What is the difference between Chiropractic treatment and other health care providers?

A: There are many differences, but the most significant ones are:  Chiropractic uses non-invasive techniques (no drugs or surgery) focusing on restoring proper biomechanical function and balance across the entire body.

Q: How is Vose Chiropractic different from other Chiropractors?

A: One main difference is that the treatment time at Vose Chiropractic is about an hour for each visit.  In that hour we treat all of the components of the issue including muscles, joints and nerves.  For elaboration on this topic, I would suggest reading the philosophy page at vosechiropractic.com

Q: How long will I have to continue to see Dr. Vose?

A: It is impossible to predict how long it will take someone to get to functioning at 100%, but the goal is to get there as quickly as possible.  One way this is accomplished is by taking a visit-by-visit approach to the treatment plan, this way there is no wasted time spent at the doctor’s office.

Q: Will I always get “adjusted”?

A: Not necessarily, the chiropractic “adjustment” is designed to restore proper motion to a specific joint.  If the joint in question seems as if it is doing well, then an adjustment may not be indicated

Q: Do you treat conditions that aren’t related to the spine?

A: Yes.  We work on extremities as well as spine related issues, often the two are related so we may choose to incorporate treatment from several areas to address a problem.

Q: How does Chiropractic fit with the other services at OMBE?

A: Chiropractic is just one of the disciplines at the OMBE Integrative Health Center.  Many of the practitioners at the health center have similar backgrounds and training.  As a result, we work well with each other to provide complete care for the patients and clients at OMBE

Q: Does Vose Chiropractic bill insurance?

A: Vose Chiropractic does not bill insurance companies directly.  This is because many insurance carriers will not reimburse for many of the modalities that are incorporated in a patient’s hour-long visit.  If a person wishes to submit a claim to their insurance company, a detailed receipt will be provided.  A Health Saving’s account or a Flex Spending account is another popular method of payment for service at Vose Chiropractic.

Q: How do I know if I should see Dr. Vose?

A: If you have any questions regarding an injury, condition or  treatment, Dr. Vose offers a complimentary 20 minute consultation to discuss your case.
